Techsploration happens because of its strategic alliances with
business-education partnerships. Techsploration is a joint initiative of the
Nova Scotia Community College, Apprenticeship Training and Skill
Development Division, Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Workforce
Development, WITT NS (Women
in Trades and Technology), and our founding corporate sponsor, ExxonMobil
Canada.
Techsploration is a not for profit organization. The program has a
Board of Directors with representation from our founding sponsors,
educators, and community members. The Board also has a number of working
sub-committees responsible for fundraising, finances, public relations,
expansion, and the program etc.
